My go to, easy drinking wine. Nice hint of pepper, dry finish and fantastic value. Regularly on offer in Sainsburys, Morrisons and the Co-op.

Dark ruby in color with medium intensity and a red/ ruby rim.

Medium-bodied with nice legs and medium minus acidity.

Spicy on the nose, with peppercorn, blackberries, plums, cedar, oak, metals, licorice and flat cola.

Soft on the palate with blackberries, plums, cherries, oak, smoke, earth, licorice, spices and black pepper.

Medium finish with full, bitter, green, yet smooth tannins (after 30 minutes), bitter greens and lots of peppercorn.

This is a simple Rioja red, but still enjoyable. Feels like a spicy Californian Pinot Noir.

Not great by itself, but went well with Spanish tappas we had.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

15/20 (85/100)

Умеренно-плотный аромат, вишня, табачные оттенки, немного замши. Вкус ягодно-табачный, с небольшим, но ощутимым присутствием дуба, интенсивный, не очень сложный. Суховатые танины, ровно.

Sweet - bit of honey. Easy drinking. Not very complex or deep. Great for the price point.
