Cameron has made a vermouth, by serendipitous means and by realizing that the amaro herbs of milk thistle, rosemary, cardoon, sumac, quassia bark and chamomile were already growing on the property. This vermouth is based on a barrel of 2010 Cameron Pinot Noir, with these herbs, honey, and a fleck of electrifying orange peel that adds to the brisk acidity and depth of plush yet bitter flavors tingling on the palate.
