Pretty unimpressed with this wine, especially given the price (which I thankfully didn’t pay.) Fairly oak forward with a lot of vanilla on the nose, and while it does have some acidity it’s a softer, rounder wine. (But no malo as far as I can tell.) Fleshy tree fruit like yellow apple and pear. There is much, much better California Chardonnay out there.
