I knew Santa was a 49ers fan this year!!!

Decant for sediment( lots of chunky/fine sedinent). A vivid dark purple with some browing and little bricking. On the nose: sweet/delicate "old" cabernet notes jump from the glass with musty leather, some dark fruit, cedar, bale of hay. Taste: prunes, minerals, smoke, with a cherry leather medium plus long finish. On the downside of its life, but still drinking great for an old 12.5% alcohol cab.....Yum!

Arrived in time to open during the holiday season. Special order during Cain 5’s summer luncheon event in the vineyard. Dark purple color. Musty leathery dark fruit with cedar, hay and green veggie on the nose. A soft mouth feel. Initial taste is filled with prunes, minerals and smoke with a cherry leather finish. Drinks really well even though its on the down trend.

By far one of the best bottles I have had in a long time, dark, rich, full bodied, amazing fruit, blackberry, with a leathery finish!
