Contrary to what Detectable thinks, this is not a predominantly cabernet franc blend. It's 85% cabernet sauvignon with equal parts merlot, cab franc and petit verdot making up the balance. This shows younger than it is, and needs decanting. I suspect it will improve with more time in the bottle.

Wow. This vintage was fantastic! Always impressed by Ben's wines and this one does not disappoint. So much flavor still, probably could have held it for a few more years.
