The typical ripe red fruit and spice played loudly in warmer Otago Pinot has the volume dialed back here and shifts in color to a bit darker of a note. Several tea-like characteristics: very soft tannin structure, blood orange peel, bergamot.
Heat is just showing a little bit on the nose and finish. I think it may be better if this wasn't served so warm or was allowed to breathe.
