Light lemon colour . Beeswax , lemongrass , lemon peel on the nose. On the palate good body, with lemon and lime notes , beeswax and a herbaceous tinge . Still fresh acidity , this comes across as really quite young still, without the honied, toasty notes you expect with age . Still quite light on its feet, elegant and relatively lean . The length is ok , and perhaps lacks a little intensity on the mid palate , but for the basic Semillon this shows well . Drink now and over the next 10 years

Not normally a big fan of Brokenwood Semillon always harsh, but this is quite nice and light and nice balance between fruit and acidity - easy drinking wine for those hot days

Dec 31st, 2014A crisp white wine with high acidity. Lovely citrus flavours, particularly lemon zest and lime. Easy to drink and very refreshing. Enjoy for years to come! Great paired with a squid salad or a Thai salad.
