Tasted over 2 days. Not much different after a couple hours of air. Solid traditional style Barolo. Much more open then when tried 3 years ago. Shy on the nose with earthy dark fruit, truffle, leather which were also predominant on the palate along with undergrowth, tobacco, and balsamic. Balanced acidity and soft yet expanding tannins. Finish is long with lingering tannins and an explosion of minerals. This is a hearty rather than a fruity Barolo.
