Cherry jam and cocoa, graphite, variety of raisin aromas. Really beautiful. All of those aromas come through in the flavors, rich mouthfeel but an elegance overall that makes this captivating. Lots of life left but very delicious right now

V11. Nice. Soft olive and white pepper nose. Juicy black cherry fruit. Smooth, black peppery finish. Enjoyable food wine.

Dark, raisin color. Nose of hot dogs (smoky?) and cognac. Cherry and spice. Very drinkable.
Ryan gives it a 94.

Rich, heavy and fruit forward. Bold raspberries that turn to dark cherries. Goes somewhere really nice after 30 minutes or so.

Nice easy drinking wine. I hope the restaurant doesn’t find out how great the price is. It’s really rare to find a markup of only 6% from retail.

A bit tart to start but a nice fruity finish. Not as full bodied as some but a nice wine on its own. Not sure on pairing with a rich food. A little sweet to start with some tannins to round it out.

Dark cherries and damp cedar wood. The nose was muted but the flavors were not. Started off with fruit and transitioned into earthy notes as it sat on the tongue. Smooth tannins that became softer as the wine opened up in the glass.

Beautiful rich...lush...ripe..a touch of berries on first taste ..finishes with a beautiful velvety texture. .paired wonderfully with strip loin peppercorn steak. I will say i usually reserve this meal with a cab sauv but I will say the Amarone topped them all.😚😊
