A staple red for our family. Almost impenetrably dark red colour, the nose is remarkably delicate. To taste it is quite smooth and does not betray its 15% alcohol as much as you might think. Drinkable straight out of the bottle and fine to drink on its own although better with food (pasta!). Nice plum / berry taste. All in all a very good value quaffable wine, if a little unsubtle.

Very dry. Berries on the nose, blackberry and raspberry, and pepper. Spicy taste, with the fruit coming more forward as it breathes.
