Blend of Monastrell (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Syrah (10%). Dark ruby/purple/black color. Aromas of cooked berries, leather and dusty earth. Black plum and blackberry compote on the palate with hints of black tea and toasted vanilla. Long and oaky finish with a touch of slate and dark chocolate. Big and full bodied, but the tannins are nicely rounded and there is a balanced note of acidity. Well crafted and a great example of an excellent Southern Spanish Red.
