Not a typical #rioja #macan #vegasiciliawines Dark deep color black currant nose and profound and dry espresso beans and leather and sandalwood palate. Very enjoyable now and has a brilliant future ahead if you're able to wait that long.

Youthful. Tannic. Heavy on the American oak, but with deep and lovely blackberry fruit.

Paired it with a rack of lamb, delightful.

This a power house of a wine. Luscious, big, and imposing. Leather, dried berries dominate the nose. The tannins really pop at first, but soften up after opening it up for a while. The finish is primarily berries, but it is well rounded and delicious.
I think with some more rest time it would be outstanding.
