Mendoza Malbec Blend

Not very good. I don't want to say that it's gone bad but there's definitely a strange quality too it.

Unfortunately this 2010 vintage is on the way out.
First sips were better than the last .

Dark inky in color with a purple rim.
Fruity nose yet light, with blackberry, plums, peppercorn, barnyard and cherries.

Smooth on the palate with cherries, plums, strawberry and Mediterranean spices.

Nice on the finish with soft tannins and black pepper.

As it opens, it becomes sour. One Last chance to drink it.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Fantastic full taste. Really enjoyed this.

Great red blend. Perfect for pizza!

Needs to breathe, sweet, slight tart cherry. Quite drinkable, not remarkable.

Slightly tart, but nice. I prefer the 2010 Vintage over the 2012/2013.

Sharp & slightly spicy. Enjoyable & inexpensive.

I traditionally think of red blends as sweeter than this one. Perhaps after it breathes bit more, I will enjoy it more.
