My first wine from Patagonia. In the light to medium bodied savoury mould. Red cherry, a touch of strawberry, red florals and a gamey note. Medium plus intensity on the palate. Varnishy notes. If tasted blind I could’ve picked this as Australian, like Gippsland, where we have just been. Not overly complex but it is young and still tight. It will develop further in the 2020 to 2030 decade. Picked off the Wine List at Supernormal Melbourne - fabulous food.
