Beautiful, vibrant wine. Sweet on the front palate - vanilla and brown sugar. Cherry and licorice on the finish. Lingers for a full 25 seconds of more, which is surprising for such a non-"heavy" wine.

Showing tons of fruit. 54% Cab franc, 23% Cab Sav, 23% merlot. Love this wine. Saving a glass for tomorrow...I've liked everything From Blackbird so far.

A Cab Franc dom' blend stunner! It's clear as I look back at this one, that CF is my favorite red front-runner of all the Bordeaux varietals.
