Apr 2nd, 2016En magnum. Effusive and distinctly fresh with savory features sans the bloodiness we sometimes find in Beaujolais cru wines. A whisper of Bret really lifts the fruit in the glass while a slatey spice and a light presence of herbs keeps the depth of this very chuggable wine in focus. Tart fruit ricochets throughout every part of the palate with bedazzling lightness and concentration. Knitted tannins, both foreground and background, gracefully make themselves known while all that lovely Gamay fruit continues to swirl, leaving your mouth tasting of 90 year old roots in Beaune. @bkwines
