Benchmark verdicchio di matelica. Fresh, mineral, classic green almond, stone fruit, round. Served too cold, really opened up as the wine came up to temp. Wouldn't mind a little more acid, but who cares when the wine is already this good.

Sweet mint and underripe stone fruit on the nose, but also some salty mineral notes too. Mid-weight is round and juicy with almost enough acid to bring it all around. Love the producer, wines are super consistent. Entry level bottle that punches above its weight. Verdicchio needs some more respect.

Bright and refreshing but actually quite delicate. Hint of apricot up front? As it warmed in the glass it really became much more complex.
