Perhaps giving it a little boost for the value. ($15 for a L bottle) Not super complex but really tasty, w lots of juicy black fruit and spicy black pepper notes. Medium weight, tannins present but not overpowering. Definitely buying again. Enjoyed w carne mechada bowls.
