A little early for this one but once it gulped some air it showed its grace. Lots of years ahead of this one but it was great tonight. Typical funk of Oregon on the nose; and the palate speaks of dark cherry, mushrooms, moss, and forest floor. Delish.

2013. 11.5 ABV! The Hen. Talk about a light OR Pinot - this is the poster child! Tart, bright cherries, with a hint of strawberries and smoke. On the sweeter side, and even a tendency towards vinegar - still, loved it, and this style. Easy drinking. 9.1.
