This bottle of 2015 Better Half Pinot Noir was part of my Salvation Case from the team at Vinomofo. It's made with cool climate fruit from Victoria's Yarra Valley.

Garnet colour on the eye with candied berries, vanilla sprinkles and a touch of baking spice on the nose. It also has a certain warmth to it thanks to its 13.5% alcohol by volume. On the palate it's juicy and fine with flavours of plum pudding and a touch of bitter dark choc on its rather persistent finish.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Don't forget, wine is subjective #TCWeekdayWine

Agree with some others on this- could do with a bit more time in the bottle or well breathed.

Delectable Blue

A very delicate and elegant pinot. It has a nice spicy layered savoury palate, with cedar overtones and cherry and strawberry in a supporting role. Supple tannins, nice complexity and length of finish. Still very young and carrying a tad too much acid at this point. Quite enjoyable, but really needs lots more bottle time.

Such a frustrating wine. It's so sweet and void of structure, but for some reason I actually quite like it
