Dark magenta color, sorrel, raspberry leather burlap smell, sorrel jammy (raspberry blackberry) grippiness, that tightens with a grassy astringent flavor near the middle, tannin push through and settle with an oakiness near the end,

Sipping Fine Wine

Pouring a glass (after a half hour decanting) I noticed a gorgeous deep red with Ruby edges and aromas of ample dark fruit with slight hint of spice. The palate showed black cherry, berries, plums and sweet dried fruit with silky smooth tannins, great mouthfeel with a touch of gentle oak and minerality. This Cabernet is a great value, a real find, the 2010 still has room to develop. Grab a steak and you have a great meal!

I know the 2009 got a 90+ from Wine Spectator, but this 2010 is too fruity and one-dimensional for my taste.

Blueberry, blackberry, currant, slightly meat, cherry liquor, very dark purple magenta, lots of sugar, woody cherry liqueur, dark chocolate, blackberry, currant, boysenberry, blueberry, acid and tannins at end are balanced and leave some heat that is dry yet sticky but mouth and mildly alkaline
