Gorgeous dusty cherries on the nose. Nice pure lipstick like cherry stank. So good. Really pure, bright and lovely aromatic intensity. Palate is juicy and had a nice structure to it. Nice mouthfeel and good rusticity. Charming and rustic. We need wines like this.

A lovely wine and another crazy value for the price from Fass selections. Excellent pairing with fennel and garlic rubbed pork chops on the grill. Lots of cherry. Quite a refined palate with some surprising elegance to the fruit. But still a wine you wouldn’t be surprised to drink at a roadside taverna. Great acid and a long finish. Can’t wait to try the Brunellos from here given the quality of the Rosso.
