Just beautifully constructed with a core of juicy fruit, framed by spice, minerals and well-handled oak, finishing mooreish and interesting.

This is a lovely wine. I just don’t buy Carignane but I would buy this again!

Not overly complex but pleasurable. Still a bit of tannins on the finish.

Sweet clean funky nose. Mildly tart, plummy palate with easy tannins. Love it with gingery shoyu chicken. Label says 4 barrels made from 1888 plantings.

Dark crimson, quite dense. Full bouquet of potpurri, subtle eucalyptus, and pommegranate and blackberry compote. Medium body, fabulous complexity, nice grip and mouth watering acidity. This is first class, with great potential for evolution in glass, aging in bottle, and food worthiness. 91 pts.
