When I first opened this, it was very meh. It’s showing a lot better after three days. Jammy with a concentrated nose of blackberry jam, mulberries, ripe black cherries, some herbs. Well made, but riper, more extracted and higher alcohol than I can really get into. I do think I opened it too early though.

Ripe red and black fruits sweet ripe tannins. It’s a very delicious wine. It seems a little simple though, not much complexity with no tertiary aromas or flavors and the alcohol feeling for me is on the high side. Very good. #redblend#redfruitblackfruit#californiazinfandel#sonomawine
