1999 is showing beautifully. Each grape has a story to tell. Grenache struggling to stay juicy, Syrah giving garrigue and dense earthy complexity, Mourvèdre making it funky as always. Bone dry with a perfect amount of Brett. Fully mature and needs pot roast, venison, chanterelle mushrooms or smoked anything. Lovely at 16 years.
