Sonoma County Zinfandel

Better on day two. Warm and robust, rich and meaty without tang or aftertaste.

Paid $22-23 and am happy with the taste. The label drew me in.

Bear flag zin 2016. Quite harsh on the nose which still does not mellow with aeration. The flavor notes are actually nice with berry and dark fruits light tannin and oak. Smooth finish, but I couldn't get past the nose.

Lighter but nice. Great value at $19.99. Smooth and easy-drinking.

Full bodied flavor exactly what it says.

2016- tart strawberries. Very weak tannin structure.

Kinda boring..very smooth and velvety all the way through. Just hint of pepper and I would say plum maybe. Medium body no acditic.

Full bodied with lots of jammy blueberry and dark cherry fruit. Hints of vanilla, oak and sweet spices. Velvety texture and rich mouthfeel, but the tannins are firm. It is a bit of a fruit bomb but very well balanced.

Sweetish, of course.
Like the tannines on this one.
