A typical Chianti Classico, and it's a good one. Cherry and currant on the nose. The lovely tannins and dryness with that spicy touch. Is winegasm a word yet?

Right out of bottle: Dark ruby color; tight fruity nose; undeveloped and unbalanced taste with medium body and bitter finish. Second glass after 1h airing: better; more focused and fruits more exposed. Needs lots of airing.

A little sour to start. Flattened out after 20 min. Very easy to drink afterward. Light. Good for fish

Call me a heathen but iAd never heard of this wine before. Strangely, I have never been disappointed with Italian wines that begin with the letter B, this one included. It's rich and tart without tannins, straight from the popping of the cork. Leave it to sit and it gains body and legs. Truly a wine worth as outing with cheese and good company. Enjoy!

Dry, but flavorless. Not very happy with it.
