Belnero Proprietor's Reserve Toscana Sangiovese Blend

This has some nice weight to it for a Sangiovese blend. Bright red fruit up front but rustic flavors follow immediately: earth, tobacco, leather, wood. High acidity, feisty tannins, persistent earth notes; bold and full bodied with a silky mouthfeel and good finish. Impressively good.

Smooth and silky finish. Enjoyed this. Woody balances the fruity. Smells delicious.

sangiovese with some cabernet and merlot added. great food wine.

Smooth, easy going. Light on tannins. Finish is cherry, oak, earthy. Very nice.

Pretty good for not being a fan of Italian wines. Dark red color. Medium plus depth. Dark Cherry fruit and graphite tones. Decent tannins as one would expect. Went great with meatballs and tagliatelle bolognese as one would expect :)
