Dry afterward. Tannins present throughout. Tart, dry, savory. Good wine, for after a meaty dish and awesome with bold red sauce dishes.

Nice plum nose. Acids but in a good way, more of a tang or tart lemon. Leaves the paler dry but wanting more!

I evidently do not like a super Tuscan. I can see where this would be good with a steak. But not for me.

Such a nice Super Tuscan to pair up with a steak au poive on a chilly winter evening. A little tight on opening but then ba-boom! Opens up nicely and you get the plum/blackberry and tobacco notes with a really nice long finish. This will keep for a while longer but the ‘13’s ready to go now.
