A finely crafted wine. Dark ruby color, medium nose, soft tanins, smooth finish with plum notes. Hint of oak. Some chewiness in the mouth that I liked a lot and lingered just long enough to satisfy!

The inaugural release of B Side Cabernet Sauvignon features grapes from vineyards on the flip-side of Napa Valley. Aged for 14 months in French oak (90%), aromas of dark berry fruit, oak and sweet spice. Blackberry and dried cherry fruit flavors with cacao and espresso tones. Medium finish ending with oak and fruit. Tasting Sample.

Strong pepper tastes with subtle blackberry and a hint of licorice maybe and leather is what I get. Too bold for me, but I still enjoyed it. Price is high to me for this...maybe it just needs more time to breathe and age...solid wine if you like spice and bite. Had with steak and cabbage

Soft tannins, silky mouthfeel with hints of cherries, chocolate and vanilla. Pairs well with gamier meat like London broil or venison.

Ruby color. Oak and vanilla on the nose. Tastes sweet with ripe fruits. I get the flavor of Raisins and prunes and the oak really comes out in its decent longish finish. Medium body. Low tannin and acidity. At first the “Bordeaux style cabernet”, as they referred to it in description, is nice and apparent but the more it opens it is not so much. It’s Good. But a little sweet for me. Went well with strip steak and asparagus and mozzarella and tomatoes.
