2014 vintage. Such a great wine. Plum, dark cherry, and roses on the nose. Cherry soda and blood orange on the tongue.

New grape for me. Light on its feet, herbal and cherry. Good stuff. #pizzasunday

Superb oddball grown along the northernmost reaches of the Tuscan coast. Opens with bright acidity like wild raspberries & bing cherries, but as this Vermentino Nero catches air, plums, a kiss of figs, and savory herbs emerge with very fine & mellow tannins. Worth hunting down!

Medium minus ruby. Game, rabbit, cherry, dried flowers, sheep skin. Medium acidity, medium minus sugar, medium minus alcohol. Has the funkiness of a Beaujolais.

Clear, ruby red on sight. Lots of gaminess on the nose - fatty, buttery, meat smell. Ripe red fruits, some nail polish remover. Medium body, stewed red fruits, more animal and game on the palette. Very long, dry finish, medium tannins. Very interesting wine.
