Great deal for cheap aglianico. Juicy tasty . Used barriques lifting the aromatics a bit.

Pours blood in color. Aromas of medicinal with a hint of cherry. Flavors of cherry and earth. Light body with a medium finish. I'd like to preface our rating with the fact that we are New World Winelovers who are trying to break out of our comfort zone. There are no flaws but we don't know what is expected of the grape

2010 vintage. Nice earthy nose. Robust tannins, and moderate acidity. Somewhat light in the finish. Was opening up noticeable after ~45 minutes.

Cherry jam, nice full body. Smooth finish, which may have helped with its age (2010 vintage, drank in 2015). A great wine for its $15 price tag.

Sep 6th, 2015A 2008 aglianico that took a few hours to get it together! But oh soo good with a grass fed ribeye and ny strip! Dark burnt fruits, leather and spice. Youngster like tannins and showing boldly.
