I can’t imagine a more emblematic CA Pinot. Ruby in color, the nose is full of raspberry, cherry, clove and mushrooms. The body is light, well balanced between the acidity and tannins. The cloves and baking spices come through and linger nicely on the palate. A very versatile wine indeed.

I liked it; wife did not. Bit acidic on the front end but finished with nice fruity notes.
