Fruit forward and wonderful Brunello. Haven't had a chance to taste many 2010s that I have heard so much about, but this was was awesome.

My initial thoughts were this is a big bruiser. I came back to it and sure enough everything calmed down and softened. Plenty of dark fruit that was lighter on its feet than expected. Great finish that was mouth watering. Still has a number of yrs left.

This Riserva is only made in the best years, 2010 being an Iconic vintage.
Black current, rosemary, cigar box. Firm tannins that coat the palate and carry through till the end. Young and will be best in another 3-5 years of aging. Parker gave this 96 points.
