The barrel selection for this cuvee really works- beautiful Pinot fruit balanced by lively acidity and just the right amount of sous bois and earth. Clearly done in an old world style, but the best that SBC has to offer. Delicious, but no hurry.

Yum, drinking well for the age. Fruit and savory herbs. Great bottle from a average vintage.

Some reduction when first opened but pretty much dissipated with air. Intense, with some herbaceous elements on the finish, I think it could confuse some as being from California.

Just glorious. Earthy with cherry and anise. The bouquet is beautiful and the finish lingers.
