Screams for BBQ. The PV addition is noticeable and makes this really pop.

Always interesting to try a new wine from a vineyard you've been to.

Red ruby on the dark side as world be expected for the blend. Fruits and some earth. Good grip on palate and length and needing a good barbecue. Ok with the Kalbi from David’s mom that’s on the mild side.

Balanced even with 14.3 alcohol. Dark fruit, spice and tobacco and tasty with seasoned filet. 2012 vintage drinks well. With Rosemarie.

Bramble and pepper on the nose. Hints of blueberry and tobacco. Definitely a steak and BBQ wine. Medium in body. Supple tannins. This would pair nicely with baby back ribs.
