Nice accompaniment to a NY strip steak dinner with grilled new potatoes. Decanted after thinking it was tight. Opened up to notes of blackberry, after a while toasted vanilla. Alcohol level was nice with slight punch to stand up to a robust meal without un-nuanced alcohol.
