There is a lot of oak on first impression but then a lovely hint of lemon and pineapple come through with some golden apple and a cleansing note of flint and wet stone. This is medium bodied and medium alcohol (13.5%abv) and very nicely balanced. Definitely new world with that ripeness but the minerality gives it added complexity. Medium length, a good value
