Introducing the Alkoomi 2017 Black Label Riesling from Frankland River in WA’s Great Southern region.
“The resulting wine is a fine tuned blend created from parcels including the original planting of 1971, through to a block of Geisenheim clone, planted in 2003.”
It’s a crisp straw colour on the eye with beautiful floral notes intertwined with juicy pear and lemongrass on the nose. In the mouth it’s 100% thirst quenching with crunchy apples and a squeeze of lime entertaining the palate. Perfect refreshment on a sunny day!

Alkoomi from WA’s Great Southern region have recently released a number of new whites. One being this 2017 Riesling. It’s drinking beautifully right now but you can cellar it for 5-8 years if you enjoy Aged Riesling. Approx $15 a bottle.
Cristal clear baby yellow colour on the eye with hints of green. On the nose I pick up vanilla infused pears with a hint of flint/minerality. In the mouth those juicy pears 🍐 come through alongside thirst quenching and refreshing lemon 🍋 acidity. Put the G&T away and opt for this crisp tipple to get you through spring and summer I say!
