N: Smoke, soil, mint, blueberries, something indefinable red in the background.
P: Med weight, nice cut, delicious red fruits, backbone of acidity, gentle tannins. Blackberries, blueberries in the mix too. Seven plus years doesn’t hurt this one. An A+ bargain! Great w a bowl of white beans and chorizo.

@ Delectablesays blend but I believe this is 100% Mencia , some time stainless and some time French oak.

P: Med weight, nice cut, delicious red fruits, backbone of acidity, gentle tannins. Blackberries, blueberries in the mix too. Seven plus years doesn’t hurt this one. An A+ bargain! Great w a bowl of white beans and chorizo.
