In such a great place right now. Pop and pour and let it come to room temp. Opened two bottles it was that good.

I usually prefer the Alban Roussannes with a bit of age to them but think this is on a faster track than say 2010/12.
I would opt to drink and enjoy these in the next 2+ years.

I'm faithfully buying all their reds and think it is really easy to fall flat on your as....ehhh be impressed by the Rhone Rangers from Alban but (as a fellow winemaker) I know it takes solid skills to craft an impressive white and really admire what Glenn/John are doing with Rousanne and Viognier.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I think the whites from Alban are much overlooked and are wines that generally will benefit from aging.
This 2013 is no exception however it might hit its peak sooner than the 2010/12 vintages and to my palate is a bit less "CA Rousanne-like" than I usually see from John/Glenn.
Still a BIG fan!!

Apricot, lemon tart, stone, pretty floral nose. For 15% alcohol this wine shows some of that intensity on the mid-palette. Just needs a little more acidity

Agreed. Hints of good sweet types of stuff here. Let sit and revisit years from now. Revisited 3 years later. And yes much better. Honeysuckle. Balanced. Terrific. Lots of life.
