It took a while, 2 hours + in the decanter to finally bloom out. As it’s exposed it’s true inner characters and reaches its climax the wine displays a deep fruit profile backed by floral aromas, stones, damp earth, spice and a smokey mineral character. The palate was more confident from start and revealed a clue on what would come; fresh acidity, with very fine and smooth, yet tightening tannins is keeping the palate in check throughout the finish. It came out rewarding after all, but I would like to see some more expressiveness after all to score it higher.

Strawberry color, aroma and flavor. Plum liquor. A bit concentrated over time. But another glass which has wider entrance, deep color and taste with salty. Different taste showed up in different shape glass. Good wine, so enjoyed it like that way. 2019 @2760, domaine - XH , 220113-220225

Such a lovely village! Vosne-Romanee summarized in a little package. Flowers. Tart berries. Forest floor. A hint of peppery spice. Beautiful balance with bright acidity and slightly astringent tannins. Elegant. Long finish.
