Nov 22nd, 2014Original price tag, this Crozes-Hermitage is really remarkable (I believe La Guiraude is a special cuvée?), meaty, smoky, classic aged French Syrah, long finish, amazingly this was the most ready to drink of these wines I’ve been posting tonight, and the favorite of at least one of our 6 tasters tonight!! With all that said, if anyone has bottles of this wine, it’s fully mature.

Sep 4th, 2025Leather, bacon fat, classic northern Rhône Syrah aromatics, similar flavors, this is still quite fresh and youthful for a 32-year-old Crozes-Hermitage, long finish, punching well above its weight, great bottle!!

Apr 5th, 2018Lots of VA at first, but that blew off and it was light and elegant. The weight kept building with air and the black olive tapenade aromas did as well. A very fine wine.
