Such a great value for what you get!

Not quite there yet. On the tail end of its adolescence. All the right things (meat, smoke, olive, funk) but it hasn't flipped to red fruited and pretty yet, which is in its future. The structure is a little all-elbows too, but it's still a hell of a drink and provides a lot of pleasure. Definitely not backwards or hard like a lot of, for example, Cornas, is at this age.

2013 vintage, needs some time for the oak to settle in.

Back on track, this vintage has nice balance, good fruit and sweet, caressing tannins. Lush on entry, yet finishing with a streak of acidity providing length and freshness. Should age nicely for 6-8 years.
