This is a surprise. I did an educated pick from a wine store that doesn’t have the best selection. Very nice Albariño. It has all of the characteristics you would expect. Definitely a wine region that casual wine drinkers should look for. If you only drink Chardonnay, try this. I love the saline finish to this wine, like a flavor you would find in a good sherry. Light body, a delicious amount of acid, grapefruit and nectarines, and I get chalk, which is not common, maybe it’s me, but I get chalk in Albariño wine. Look people, drink more Albariño.
