Full bodied with syrupy black and blue fruits and very little secondary flavors. Pair it with a Steak Au Poive or other aggressively spiced, rich beef dish.

Dirty ruby in color with a purple/brick rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, currants, plums, cherries, chocolates, smoke, licorice, oak, vanilla, alcohol, cola, leather, earth, vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.

Medium bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, spices, peppercorn, leather, smoke, chocolates, green herbs and spices.

Nice finish with soft tannins and black pepper.

This is a young Malbec from Mendoza. Nicely balanced and drinking elegantly now, but will be better in a year or two. A nice wine to keep in your cellar for a while, and not expensive either.

Needs two hours to properly open up and show its complexity.

100% Malbec grapes, Unfiltered and Unfined. Another teeth staining red wine...

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Leathery, full bodied, dry coffee, black cherry. Very good the first day. The second day it exhibited characteristics of a cheaper, new world wine. Would recommend the unusual step of drinking before too much air hits it.

Smoked Texas HEB steak pairs perfectly with this big argentine baby. Have 1hr of air before serving but didn’t even really need it.
