In the Rafanelli house style, big and lush with ample oak. That said, this is really nicely integrated, with excellent balance and a ton of herbal complexity. Nice match with a flank steak.

Super lush mouth feel, not a typical Merlot, full of dark stone fruit and cherry, tame, mellow tannins, a hint of herbs. Well decanted but may not have even needed it, was like silk.
