Nice blend not as sweet as some of the others. Like the horse cover on the bottle.

Despite seeing this wine on a few "great wines under $20" lists my impression was a undistinguished red blend, a fruit bomb that does not taste of any particular varietal. This wine tends to get good ratings but I could not find anything to really promote. I can see it as a good red to serve at a large party as it may appeal to a broad audience but not something I would pour for myself and close friends. Vintage 2012. $12

For $9.99, this is an every day bold winner.

Left over from the BBQ, and that's probably where it's best served—to a group with a wide variety of tastes. However, it was opened early during the BBQ, and half the bottle was still there at the end of the night. Not surprising with all the better wines that were open. It's a fat, mellow, quaffable fruit bomb, but at least it's cheap.

Great! Not too fruity. A hint of rust.
