Purple black in the glass. Dense bramble fruit, slate and pepper aromas, solid acidity and moderate soft tannins avoids the flabby trap. 32% #touriganacional, 45% #tintaroriz (Tempranillo) and 23% #jaen. Soulfully deep bramble berry aroma with some peppery spice that bites the nose in a pleasant way. Nice rich mouthfeel with loads of juicy acid, a background of vanilla, cocoa and that peppery spice to finish off. I like this very food friendly wine. #wsjwineclub — 5 years ago

60%/40% #tintaroriz & #castelão blend - overall a pretty big wine, waves of dark red fruit on the nose, medium acidity and a long finish. Has some raisiny coffee & dark cocoa bitterness. It’s not that well integrated overall so not a #portugesewine standout for me. — 6 years ago
