Deep cherry in color with earth nose. Tight in the mouth with cherry and other red fruit. Tart and abrupt finish. Expected more. Needs a longer decant than 30 minutes. Hope for improvement with more age.

I had this fresh back in 2008 (I think) as a burg newb and I remember the barnyard / earth. Sorry to see it hasn't developed quite yet but the 05s are supposed to be rather long-lasting.
